Chi Lai Lee (Toy)

June 28^th, 1936 – November 27^th, 2020

It's with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Chi Lai Lee was born in Taishan, China and went to work as a Kindergarten teacher in Hong Kong. She came to Canada to marry Tony in 1958 and established her Canadian name as Jenny.

Jenny’s life was a living example of being kind, compassionate and forgiving. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her children and grandchildren strong values in life.

She will be forever loved and remembered in our hearts by her husband Tony Yim Toon Toy, her son Kenny Toye (spouse Lana Tam), her daughter Connie Toye (partner Curtis Ellacott), her grandchildren Lauren Lee-Atkinson, (spouse Brennan Atkinson), Brittany Lee (partner Tyler Zoltek), Jennifer Toye, and Stephanie Toye. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Lai Hing Liu (spouse Shee Lo Liu), Mary Lee and spouse Henry (predeceased), as well as her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephew.

Visitation and Funeral on Friday, December 4^th from 11:00am to12:30 pm. Due to Covid restrictions, we ask that the capacity does not exceed 25 people in the viewing room.

Private Burial for immediate family only starting at 13:00pm at Mount Royal Cemetery plot 7267 section Mountain View. Please respect the request of the family.
