Margaret Roussin, born April 1944 in Hingham, MA to Harvey Roussin and Ester Higgins. At age 75, on Wednesday, February 12th 2020 at 8 AM she passed away at the IUGM in Montreal. Known by her friends as Maggie, she was a strong, courageous single mom who raised three children on her own.  Her children Matthew (Eva), Peter (Pilar), and Cindy (Michael) will miss her contagious laughter and free spirit. She devoted much of her love as "Nana" to her six grandbabies Sean, Carmen, Theresa, Kobe, Jaiden, and Bodie. She loved spending time with her family, having humorous conversations and snacking with the little ones. The funeral ceremony will be held Saturday, February 15th 2020, 12-3 pm at Aeterna Funeral Complex. We welcome friends to come celebrate Maggie’s wonderful life with her family.

The staff in both West Island Palliative Care and IUGM were very supportive and took so much care and provided Maggie and her family much comfort in her last 9 months.  As an alternative to flowers, you can donate to either one of these amazing facilities in her memory.
