It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony D'Addese surrounded by his loving family on October 12, 2021 at the age of eighty-eight.
Born in Gesualdo, Italy, on July 4, 1933 to Rosina Dell’Erario and Carmine D’Addese. Devoted and loving husband of Floriana Gentile for 60 years. Cherished and beloved father of Rosemary (Enzo D'Adamo) and Rick. Proud and adoring grandfather of Stephen and Katherine. Brother of the late Luigi (Grazia) as well as his sisters-in-law the late Vera (the late Frank Corsi) and Elda (Corrado Cucci). He will also be dearly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Anthony was a dedicated teacher until his retirement in 1991.
He enjoyed spending much of his retirement in the warmth of Florida winters, playing tennis, pursuing his love of travel and engaging in his passion for writings on proverbs. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory would be greatly appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada (https://www.alzheimer.ca/).
