It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother Philip Parsneau, 71, of Pierrefonds, Quebec.
Anyone who knew our brother will remember him as a good friend who loved to participate in his two favourite activities, golf and basketball. Philip was someone who could be counted on for help when needed and who always treated the people around him with good humour and kindness.
The last several years were difficult ones for him. Philip cared for our ailing father, Jack, right up until Jack’s passing. Soon thereafter, he had to contend with the illness and death of his beloved partner, Catherine Pownall. Catherine was the love of his life and her loss was a serious blow.
Philip was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Jack, and his brother Paul. He is survived by his two sisters, Anna-Jean and Carole-Anne.
We will miss him deeply. Rest in peace, Brother.

Hello Anna-Jean and Carole-Anne, Please accept our most sincere and deepest condolences. Our family absolutely loved Phil. He was the greatest thing that ever happened to my aunt Catherine. He was just so so great to her. As couples plus, Catherine and Phil spent a lot of time together with my parents (Georgie and Doris) and my uncle Allan. The last few times I spoke to him he was so very sad, but he still tried to be upbeat. We are very sorry for your loss. Tom & Monique Pownall
A-J, very sorry to hear of your brother’s passing. It is a difficult time and even more so during a pandemic. May your brother now rest in peace. Sincerely
