I remember Sarankan with fondness and laughter! He was quite a character when I knew him at the Mackay Centre School. He tricked me once and then we both laughed a lot!!! I am glad that I had a chance to know him! I am full of admiration regarding how he dealt with his condition and how his dear parents took such great care of him! Thank you!

I worked as a PAB with Sarankan for several years at Mackay. He was a bright, energetic and fun young man ,and a good friend for Nicholas and Liam. He will be missed by all who knew him. My deepest sympathies to all his family and friends.

Sarankan was a student that I spent time with every day and also had the privilege of visiting your wonderful home to learn how to care for him when we took him to Mackay camp. He was an incredible child that coped with his situation with a “forever” smile and sense of humor. He will be missed. ❤️
