It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful mother. Predeceased by her husband George and her son Leszek.

Devoted and cherished mother of Theresa (Janusz) and a beloved grandmother to George Girard. Beloved aunt of many in the United States and Poland.

She was loved by so many friends and neighbours. Her passion was doting on her grandson and cooking with him. They happened to share the same birthdate.

Creating a marvelous garden was what she looked forward to every spring and then she shared the harvest with many.

She was born in Poland and managed to survive WW2 while being in a labour camp in Germany. She came to Canada when she was 24 years old with 2 children and a husband waiting for her. She worked as a nurse’s assistance at the Royal Victoria Hospital and then she went on to work at Marconi until retirement.

She had a kind heart and loved live to the fullest, loved talking to anyone she met and loved playing Bingo with her church groups.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 25,

from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
