In Loving Memory

NGUYEN CAO HUY 

1949-2022 

It is with great sadness that the family of Huy Cao Nguyen announce his passing on February 8^th at 22:00 in Brossard at the age of 72 with his family by his side. He will be forever lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Tam Thi Minh Nguyen; his two children, Sonia Kim Anh (Francesco) Nguyen and Christopher Huy Minh Nguyen; his three grand-children Clara, Dominic and Emmanuel; his brother Kim Hoai (Kathy) When, his sister Christine (John) Brogan and his brother Peter Hoang Nguyen; his nephews and niece Jason, David, Patrick and Katy, along with numerable other extended relatives and friends. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Hach Cao Nguyen and Nga Thi Mai.  

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend received his degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of San Jose and moved to Canada afterwards where he met his wife and started a family. Huy was a man of many passions including scuba diving, skiing, travel and he had a wonderful sense of adventure. An intrepid explorer, this family man managed to visit 56 countries during his time here. He will always be in our hearts as a man who valued family, intellectual curiosity, perseverance and responsibility.  

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the palliative unit at CHSLD Champlain and to Dre. Catherine Martineau. 

A private service will be held on Saturday February 12 at the Complexe funéraire Aeterna, 55 rue Gince, Montreal, QC, H4N 1J7. Viewing will be from noon-13:00

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Huy’s name may be made to bluedragon.org. to help street kids and rescue victims in Vietnam, a charity Huy held deeply in his heart.
