Mee Kiu MOY (nee SETO)
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce Mee Kiu, loving wife of Yum Oy passed away peacefully at the age of eighty-seven (87) on February 6, 2023.
Born on October 8, 1935, in Guangzhou, China, she is the youngest daughter of SETO Yiu Wing and GEE Lai Jun.
She is survived by her husband Yum Oy, her children William (Mei Ching), Susan (Kwok Chu), Mylene (Douglas), Wayne (Kazué) and Cindy (Amélie), her grandchildren Lindsay (David), Brandon (Maple), Belinda (Jeremy), Justin (Hang), Melissa, Steven, Nolan, Valerie, Calvin, Michael, Alexandra, Guillaume and Gabrielle, her great-grandchildren Lea, Emma and Noah, her younger brother David (Marcella) and her many nieces, nephews and relatives from across Canada, the United States and China. She will also be missed by her friends from the Mah-Jong club.
Visitation will be held on February 16th from 14:00 – 19:00 at the Complexe Funéraire Aeterna, 55 rue Gince, Saint-Laurent. A funeral service will be held at Aeterna on February 17th from 9:00 – 10:00 with the procession and interment to follow at the Mount-Royal Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at the CHUM Intensive Care Unit and our cousin Terry for their support and care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the CHUM.
