C’est avec grande tristesse et le cœur lourd que nous vous annonçons le décès de Alexandra DUMOUCHEL née VITALIOTOU, à l’âge de 92 ans.
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Alexandra Dumouchel Vitaliotou on October 24, 2024, at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Born on December 15, 1932, in Andros, Greece, Alexandra was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, mother-in-law and aunt.
She is survived by her daughters, Evangelia (Lian) Dumouchel (Peter Tsigaris), Maria Dumouchel (Louis Marinakos) and her treasured grandsons, Eric Tsigaris and Alexander Tsigaris. Alexandra will be dearly missed by her sister, Irini Vatikioti (Taki), and her many nieces and nephews around the world. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Dumouchel, who passed away in 1993.
Although Alexandra had limited formal education, her love for learning was boundless. She pursued knowledge in every form and even took French language classes in her 70s, demonstrating her remarkable intellectual curiosity and determination. An avid reader, she was always eager to discover more about the world around her.
Known for her kind smile and warm, welcoming demeanor, Alexandra made friends effortlessly wherever she went. Her presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew her.
Alexandra’s love, wisdom, and passion for life will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Envoyez vos messages de condoléances.
To our Dear Dear Friends Mary and Louis and the entire family, we are very sad by this terrible news of Mary's mom's (Alexandra's) passing. Indeed she was a beloved and a very kind humble person that we had come to cherish whenever we met and spent time with her. We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences. We know how much both Mary and Louis devoted to spending maximum time with her this past year especially to enjoy each and every precious moment. We wish them and the entire family courage, love, and strength at this difficult time. May she rest in peace, as God decided to ease her suffering. She will definitely be missed and always joyfully remembered. With all our love and comforting hugs. Hani Wahba/Annie Coulombe and all our kids and family.
