April 5, 1949 - January 31, 2024

it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Anthony McCulloch at the age of 74. He passed away at the Jewish General Hospital with his loving wife by his side. He leaves to join his beloved parents, Jean and James McCulloch, and to mourn, Jane, Sara, Marie, siblings Rosemary (late Don), Joe (JoAnne), Thompson (Judy), Paul (Monique), Glenn (Sheree), and beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Michael immigrated to Montreal, Canada, in 1957 with his family. He loved scribbling in newspaper margins, doing New York Times crossword puzzles, and quiet time to himself. If he wasn’t outside gardening, then he was watching Jacques Pépin prepare a soufflé or sharing a story at the dinner table. Thank you for the time we had together—until we meet again.

The family wishes to thank all of the medical staff at the Jewish General Hospital and the Saint-Laurent CLSC for their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jewish General Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
