A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud Pontian, Anthimos Michailidis immigrated to Canada with his family in 1963 in search of a better life. Through hard work, determination, and unwavering faith, he built a successful and fulfilling life for those he loved.
He was the heart and soul of the Pontian Association of Montreal, which he helped build—quite literally—with his own hands. For more than six decades, he dedicated himself to preserving and sharing the rich traditions of his Pontian heritage. His wisdom, strength, and quiet leadership shaped a community and left a lasting legacy.
Anthimos will be remembered not only for his accomplishments, but for his kindness, integrity, and the deep pride he took in his roots and his family.
In memory of our beloved
Anthimos Michailidis,
in lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that donations be made to the
Montreal General Hospital
as a tribute to his life and legacy.
We sincerely thank you for your support and kind thoughts
during this difficult time.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
