It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Apokatanidis, who left us peacefully on November 16^th, 2025. George was the beloved son of Dimitrios and Anna Apokatanidis. He grew up alongside his brothers, Costa and Alex, forming a close bond that lasted throughout his life.

He is survived by his two sons, James (Maya) and Paul (Laura) as well as his grandson, Jack. George was a kind soul who enjoyed the simple things in life, especially spending time with his sons, coaching their hockey team, going on bike rides, playing tennis, and watching their soccer games.  

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Aeterna Funeral Complex, 55 rue Gince, Montréal (Québec) H4N 1J7, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Jewish General Hospital Foundation (https://www.jghfoundation.org/).
