Ioanna Papanastasoulis (née Giorgousoulis)
March 22, 1942 - March 2, 2025
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Ioanna Papanastasoulis (née Giorgousoulis) at the age of 82. She passed away peacefully on March 2nd after a courageous 3-1/2 years battle with ALS, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of 61 years of Demetrios, cherished mother of Laki (Viki) and George (Rosanna). Loving grandmother of Ioanna, Dimitri, Melina, Alessandro and Nicolas. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was an incredible lady, loving and kindhearted and her family was her pride and joy. Her nurturing and guidance instilled values in us that made us who we are today. We will forever miss her, love her and cherish all the wonderful memories.
Our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, caregivers and staff of the CHUM Hospital for the exceptional and compassionate care of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
