It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Kogut. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 27, 2025.
Maria was born on July 8 1925, in Poland before migrating to Canada with her family.

Maria was a woman of courage and strength, devoted to her family, raising five children.

Her passion for life was evident in everything she did, especially bringing everyone together through her love of hosting and cooking delicious meals.

Maria was a cherished and active member of the Polish community and church bringing joy and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She will be greatly missed by her children Emil (Rosie), Vincenty, Wiesia (Jurek) and Kasia (Adam). Her grandchildren, Dorota, Darek, Chris, Dania, Maggie, Mat, Pavel and Daniella.
Her great grandchildren, Emilia, Sofia, Roman, Stephan, Ava, James, Alexander and Aria.
