SOPHIA KATRAVAS (nee COLOVOS)
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved
wife/mother/grandmother SOPHIA KATRAVAS (nee COLOVOS) of Montreal, Quebec
on November 30, 2025, at the age of 81 years.
She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving husband Gerassimos;
children Anthoula (Ivan) and Michael; grandchildren Gerry (Marina), Aspasia, and
Aleksandar, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She built a life centered around family and friends. She was known for her beautiful
spirit, sharp wit, as well as her strong, proud Spartan personality. She had a big heart,
and was kind and generous, always taking care of the needs of others above her own.
She never forgot her Greek roots and was an active member in the Women's
Philanthropic Association of St. Nicholas Church in Laval, supporting fundraising events and the
community.
She leaves behind countless joyful memories, stories, and traditions that will be
treasured forever. She will be greatly missed, and her passing has left a void in our
hearts. May her memory remain eternal.
In lieu of flowers we respectfully ask that donations be sent to the following: Philanthropic Association of St. Nicholas Church, Laval
