Anastasia Dedakis (nee Papadopoulos) quietly passed away on February 24, 2026 shortly after her 97th birthday.

She leaves behind her son Efthimios, her sisters Katina and Chrissa, her sister in law Agoritsa, brother in law Vaggeli and many nieces and nephews.

The last scions of a once large and multi branched family.

She was a very strong woman who endured great challenges in this world but no matter how insurmountable the challenges, she always persevered. We her family, will always remember her this way.

After 97 years it's finally time for peace, calm and the anticipated reunion with her beloved late daughter Angeliki whose passing was the only challenge she could not surpass.
