It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of George Chow Yew Gee, who departed this life peacefully on January 5th, 2026, at the age of 90.
He was born on February 2nd, 1935, and lived a full and meaningful life devoted to his family and friends. Beloved husband of Chai Chee Gee, he was a devoted partner throughout their 71 years together. He was the proud and loving father of Gordon, Anthony, and Kathleen, and a cherished grandfather to Christopher, Aaron, Brendan, Melanie, Michael, and Melodie.
His kindness, wisdom, and steady presence touched the lives of all who knew him. He had a way of making everyone feel at ease, whether through his gentle humor, a thoughtful story, or the simple calm of his company. Those who were fortunate to spend time with him will remember his gentle spirit, laughter, and the warmth he brought into every gathering.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and family dedication, that will continue to inspire generations to come. Though we will miss him dearly, we find peace in knowing he is at rest and that his spirit continues to guide and inspire us.
A funeral service celebrating George Chow Yew Gee’s life will be held on Friday, January 9th, 2026 from 10h00-13h30, at Complexe funéraire Aeterna. Family and friends are invited to attend and share in remembrance of a remarkable man whose life will be forever treasured. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
