John Alton Seale passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 27, 2025, at the age of 73.

John was a proud father to his son, Olivier Rivard-Seale. He was deeply committed to his family and friends and was known for his strong values, his love of music, and his genuine nature.

John spent many years working at Quincaillerie Monkland, where he was highly respected and admired by both colleagues and customers for his kindness, professionalism, and knowledge, right up until recently.

Music was John’s greatest passion. He loved writing music and playing the drums, a lifelong source of joy, creativity, and connection with the many people he played with over the years.

John will be remembered as honourable, genuine, intelligent, funny, and a good neighbour—someone who was truly well liked by everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
