It is with great sadness that after a long battle with cancer our beloved son, father and brother has passed away on December 3rd 2020. He was born in Colombia and was 48 years old, he completed his B.Sc. in Chemical engineering at the National University of Colombia. He later emigrated with his family to Montreal Canada where he currently resided.

Yesid was tolerant but reserved, he deeply loved his children, he enjoyed the ocean and Nature. He was always ready to serve to whoever need it, he was a great counselor and mediator

He is survived by his mother Hilda Nieto, his brother David Diaz and his children Juan David and Karen Lorena. he leaves us with an empty space in our hearts as well as to the rest of his family and friends

A private ceremony will be held on Sunday December 6th from 10:00 AM to 1:00PM at Aeterna funeral home in the city of Montreal in honor of his memory and with a live video in the following link:

Anunciamos con una profunda tristeza que después de una larga batalla contra el cáncer nuestro querido Hijo, Padre y hermano Yesid Leonardo Diaz Nieto falleció el día 3 de diciembre del 2020. Nacido en Colombia, tenía 48 años, Ingeniero Químico egresado de la U. Nacional, emigró con su familia a Montreal Canadá donde residía actualmente.

Yesid era tolerante y reservado, amaba entrañablemente a sus hijos, disfrutaba del mar y la naturaleza. Siempre dispuesto a servir a quien lo necesitara, fue un gran consejero y conciliador.

Le sobreviven su mama Hilda Nieto, su hermano David Diaz y sus hijos Juan David y Karen Lorena, a quienes nos deja una huella imborrable al igual que a todos sus familiares y amigos.

El día domingo 6 de diciembre de 10:00 AM a 1:00 PM Eastern time en la casa funeraria Aeterna de la ciudad de Montreal se celebrará un servicio privado en honor a su memoria el cual estará disponible en video en vivo a través del siguiente enlace:
