Marion MEISNER SELIG

1923-2021 15 octobre 2021

STIEBEL, Marion Norine (Selig, Meisner)—30 November 1923 - 15 October 2021

Passed away peacefully, at the age of 97 years, with her granddaughter Chantal by her side. Marion was the biological daughter of Adam and Laura Selig. She was adopted by John and Eliza Meisner. Robert (ex-husband), her 6 siblings (Percy, Gilbert, Oliver, Ernest, Forrester and Ruby) and her daughter Karen predeceased her.  She leaves behind a daughter Cheryl Stiebel (Paul Langevin), a son John Stiebel (Celine Bussieres), 3 grandchildren, Chantal Langevin (David Collar), Che Langevin and Quentin Dexter (Jennie Reiprish) and 5 great grand-children, Rhys and Remy Collar; Ellen, Sadie and Quinn Dexter.

Sadly, Marion fell and fractured her hip in March 2020, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and spent her remaining time in Ste. Anne’s Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec.

Cremation has taken place, under the care of Aeterna Crematorium in Montreal, PQ.  Marion will be returning home to Brooklyn, N.S. to be with her daughter, Karen, in their final resting place.  A celebration of their lives will take place on August 20, 2022 (time will be forthcoming).  In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Ste. Anne’s Hospital, 305 Boul des Anciens-Combattants, Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue, QC  H9X 1Y9
