Our beloved Denis Galiatsatos has taken his final breath. He passed on  the morning of October 26, 2021.

His place in his family’s heart can never be replaced.

Denis was adored by those who had the honour of knowing him. He touched the lives of many with his wisdom, wit, generosity, kindness, and humour. He was a devoted family man, a person of high integrity, with an insatiable passion for history, politics and a deep love for nature.

He was a man of exemplary courage, with a soothing mild temperament.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years Fophoula (Foula) Lalis, whom he loved fiercely from the moment they met.

He is survived by his adoring daughters Vickie (Steph Pehlivanian), Zanthi (Tania Antonas), and his doting granddaughter Denise.

He was a father who loved his children unconditionally. And he was their most loyal friend.

He was and will always be immensely treasured. A true gentleman. A noble man.

Gary Lyn Betts

1948-2021 9 octobre 2021

Gary Lyn Betts passed away as he fell asleep the morning of Oct 9th at the age of 73. Gary was born July 13th 1948 as the eldest of 7 children which might have something to do with how good he was at caring for others. Everyone that Gary met was treated with sincere kindness and generosity. He was a father figure, uncle figure and mentor for so many of us he treated us all as family no matter how long we knew him. Gary did not let his bad heart or COPD rule his life and lived his life to the fullest with a quick wit and dry sense of humor. He will be missed with the fondest of memories. No grave could keep such a free soul God called him home so he could go fishing in the great blue sky.
