Byron Joel Weinstein

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Byron Joel Weinstein on Saturday October 19th 2024 in Kirkland, Quebec. He was born on September 7th 1953 in Montreal, Quebec. A beloved and devoted father to Adalia (Stuart), Jacob (Melissa), loving grandfather to Ethan and Diora, beloved sibling of Bonnie (Piet), Helena (Jeff), and Lorne, and a dear uncle to his nieces and nephews.

 

His kindness, and unwavering strength will forever be cherished by those who knew him. 

His spirit lives on in the countless memories and the stories shared by his family and friends. Heartfelt appreciation to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for the compassion and comfort they provided in Byron’s final days. Byron will be greatly and deeply missed by his family and friends.

 

A celebration of life will be held on October 27th 2024 at 2801 Blvd Saint-Joseph in Lachine, Quebec between 1pm-3:30pm.

Giuseppe Polito

...un uomo fiero, un uomo di cuore, sempre pronto ad aiutare gli amici. A dedicato la sua vita alla famiglia, al lavoro come contabile e agente immobiliare, sempre con dedizione e integrità....

Giuseppe Polito, born on June 9th, 1954, in Cirella, Reggio Calabria, Italy, passed away peacefully at his home in Montreal on Oct 17,2024 at 5:20 A.M., after a brave battle with brain cancer. He was 70 years old.

Giuseppe’s life was a testament to strength, resilience, and leadership. As a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, he was a guiding light to his family and a source of support. He led by example, inspiring those around him with dedication and quiet strength.

He was predeceased by his father, Rocco Polito. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Polito, with whom he shared a deep bond and lifelong partnership of 48 years. Giuseppe was the proud and loving father of Elisabetta Polito (Jason Danowski) and Vittoria Polito (Amir Hazemi). His love for his daughters was boundless, and they will carry his wisdom and strength in their hearts. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Roman Joseph Danowski and Hope Victoria Danowski, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Giuseppe is survived by his mother, Maria Carmela Gareffa Polito, and his two brothers, Antonio (Maria Caterina Raco) and Nick (Giovanna Catalano) Polito. His extended family, friends, and community, will forever remember him as a beacon of strength and leadership.

 

Funeral services will be held at Urgel Bourgie / Athos - Complexe funéraire St-François d'Assise

6700 Rue Beaubien E, Montréal, QC H1M 3E3

 on Thursday October 24, with a viewing from 10am to 2pm and from 4pm to 9pm.

Mass will be held at Mission Maria Ausiliatrice 8550 Av. Joliot Curie, Montréal, QC H1E 4H7.

On Friday October 25 at 11am

The Burial will Follow at Le Repos Saint-François d'Assise
