PRIVATE FUNERALS

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our treasured husband, father and grandpa, Vassilios Haidalis.  He passed away suddenly on Sunday April 12, 2020.

He was a man full of joy, love and an infectious passion for life.  He loved his family dearly and cherished his many friends here in Canada and back home in Pithio, Greece.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Maria, his beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Foti & Sandra, Tom & Athena, his adoring grandchildren Natasha, Maria and Vassili, as well as his numerous extended family members and friends.

Although we cannot commemorate him at this time with his many family and friends, we will be holding a private funeral with his immediate family as per regulations due to the pandemic.  Once we all come through this crisis, we will hold a memorial to celebrate this wonderful man that we all love.

We would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at the Montreal General Hospital’s Cardiac ICU department for their compassion, support and care.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal General Hospital’s Cardiac ICU are welcome:
