I had the pleasure of briefly knowing Bev aka Frank aka Francis and Beverley during a very dark transitional time in my life where I lived in Canada and worked in a care home and Bev was one of my favorite residents. He would regail me with tales of his colorful antics such as his small town bored boyhood in Owen Sound, Ontario to joining the Forces and subsequently pissing off senior officers by running Poker games on base during the 1950s, Running Textile & Restaurant businesses in Montréal & the Laurentians in the 1970s and 80s and his....erm....often humorous and unorthodox approaches to life and business ;) Bev was an A1 sh*t disturber and fabulously entertaining man; who really brought me allot of joy and laughter during a really dark time. Ill see you in the next plane when I get there, try and stay out of trouble until than! With Love to the Waugh and Woods families -an American friend
my deepest heartfelt sympathy to all his family and friends. May he RIP
My deepest condolences to the family and all those who knew and loved him for who he was. I will miss his laughter and our conversations together.
Francis is remembered by his peers at St Margaret Day center as having a courageous heart. He always shared a smile and some funny story. He will be missed. My heart goes out to his family in particular to my friend Laura who I know has given so much of herself for her dad. Rest well Francis.
Send your condolences.
