Mary Gedeon (née Kuruc) died peacefully Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at the age of 97 to join her husband, George, in heaven.
As a wonderful and much loved mother and mother-in-law, she leaves to mourn Mary (Bob) and Julie (Andy), and as a supportive grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves Sabrina, Jason (Julie), Jessica, Jacob, Jordan and Jaxson.
She had a big heart, lively wit, infectious laugh and great sense of community to which she generously donated her time. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 23, at the Aeterna Funeral Complex, 55 rue Gince in Saint-Laurent from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
A mass will be held at 1:00 pm at the Saints Cyril & Methodius Slovak Church at 7187 2nd Ave. in Rosemont followed by the burial in the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery at 4601 Côte-des-Neiges.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed for the St. Anne’s Hospital Foundation as everyone at the facility took such great care of Mary during her final months.
